Derrick Z. Jackson co-authored the book “Project Puffin: The Improbable Quest to Bring a Beloved Seabird Back to Egg Rock.” The book, to be published by Yale University Press in April, describes the journey to bring puffins back to three Maine islands, their historic breeding grounds. Jackson is an associate editor, columnist, and editorial board member at The Boston Globe.
