2021 Christopher J. Georges Conference on College Journalism

Connecting Student Journalists

The 2021 Christopher J. Georges Conference on College Journalism took place April 9-10, 2021. Organized by the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard, the two-day online event brought college journalists from colleges across the U.S. together to network with their peers, hear presentations on new trends in journalism and attend workshops led by award-winning journalists. Our keynote speaker this year was CNN senior political correspondent Abby Phillip, the new anchor of “Inside Politics Sunday.”

The Nieman Foundation is deeply grateful to the family of journalist Christopher J. Georges for their continued support of this annual conference, which provides aspiring young journalists with new ideas, skills and resources. The foundation is also thankful for the generous support of the speakers and volunteers from The Harvard Crimson, under the direction of Crimson President Amanda Su, who are working with us to make this event possible.
