Paula Molina has received Chile’s Elena Caffarena Award, which honors female leaders making significant contributions to their respective industries. The award's namesake, a lawyer, jurist and politician - considered one of the Latin American country’s most notable figures of the 20th century - devoted her career to promoting women’s rights. Molina is a news anchor for Radio Cooperativa, a radio station based in Providencia, Chile. She is also a correspondent for BBC Mundo.
