Patricia O’Brien, writing under the pen name “Kate Alcott,” authored a novel “A Touch of Stardust,” which was published by Doubleday in February. The book peeks behind the scenes of the classic movie “Gone with the Wind” and brings to life the romance between leading man Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, another star of the era. O’Brien has authored a number of books as Kate Alcott, including “The Dressmaker,” which was a New York Times bestseller.
