Bob Giles, Class of 1966 and Nieman Foundation Curator, participated in this breakout session from the Journalism That Matters event held Aug. 8, 2007, at The George Washington University.

During the session, both Russ Okamoto of and George Hughes of discuss their citizen-journalism efforts. The feasibility of electronic tablet devices as a replacement or newspaper delivery, and the idea of co-operative ownership of a local news organization are also discussed.
