Incoming Nieman Fellow, Dean Miller, executive editor of The Post Register in Idaho Falls, Idaho, has won a Mirror Award for his article in Nieman Reports, “A Local Newspaper Endures a Stormy Backlash.”

The awards “honor the reporters, editors and teams of writers who hold a mirror to their own industry for the public’s benefit,” and are sponsored by Syracuse University’s S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications.
