Jenifer McKim, a 2008 Nieman Fellow, has joined The New England Center for Investigative Reporting as assistant managing editor and senior investigative reporter. McKim had previously worked at The Boston Globe, most recently covering social issues and business. In 2011, she received a Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism for a Globe report on the domestic sex trafficking of minors. She also worked at The Orange County Register in California, where she led a team of reporters investigating lead-tainted Mexican candies. Their work was nominated as a finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize in Public Service.
