Geneva Overholser, NF '86, has been named a senior fellow at the Democracy Fund. Previously, Overholser was editor of The Des Moines Register, which she led to win the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 1991, and, from 1995 to 1998, served as ombudsman at The Washington Post. She served as director of the USC Annenberg School of Journalism from 2008 to 2013.
