Tom Witsoky spent 33 years at The Des Moines Register, covering politics, law, business, and sports. He is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, and is the co-author, with Marc Hansen, of “Equal Before the Law: How Iowa Led Americans to Marriage Equality.”
