Lisa Stone, a 2002 Nieman Fellow, has sold BlogHer, a women-oriented blogging network she co-founded, to SheKnows, another digital media company targeted at women. Advertising Age reported that a source familiar with the deal said SheKnows purchased the site for between $30 and $40 million. Stone, who left CNN in 1997 to head up digital media projects, founded the company with two other women in 2005. She is currently the company's CEO, and she will become a SheKnows executive when the acquisition is finalized.
