Saturday morning
After enjoying a continental breakfast, convocation attendees were treated to a 70th anniversary video, produced by Lorie Conway (NF'94), followed by the panel discussion, "Preserving Nieman Values Through the Years."

After lunch, Leonard Downie, Jr. gave a key note speech titled "The Moral and Ethical Obligations of Journalism in a Digital World." The panel discussion "Voices from the New World of Journalism" followed.

Ellen Fitzpatrick's key note speech, "The Press and the Presidency" followed an evening reception and sit-down dinner. The evening ended with the panel discussion, "Press and Politics in the New Administration."
