At the Nieman Foundation
Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard
Established in 1938, the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard has awarded fellowships to more than 1,300 accomplished journalists from 92 countries. Grants are awarded annually to accomplished professionals who come to the university for a year of study, seminars and special programs that convene scholars and experts in all fields. Now 75 years old, the foundation’s mission remains to promote and elevate the standards of journalism and educate persons deemed specially qualified for journalism.
