Walt Harrington

Walt Harrington was a staff writer for the Washington Post Magazine for nearly fifteen years. He is the author or editor of six books, including Intimate Journalism, Crossings: A White Man’s Journey into Black America,and The Everlasting Stream,which was made into a PBS-broadcast documentary film. He is the winner of numerous awards and heads the journalism department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
