Sven Birkerts is the author of eight books, most recently The Art of Time in Memoir: Then, Again. He writes for the New York Times Book Review, the Boston Globe, and the Washington Post. Editor of the literary journal Agni, published at Boston University, Birkerts is also the director of the Bennington Writing Seminars in Vermont. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
