Sandy Tolan

Sandy Tolan has reported on land, water, identity, and conflict from more than thirty-five countries. He is the author of two books, including The Lemon Tree, a finalist for a 2006 National Book Critics Circle award. He has written for newspapers and magazines, and produced reports and documentaries for NPR. His work has been recognized with more than two dozen national and international awards. Tolan is co-founder of Homelands Productions, and senior producer for “Working,” an international series of profiles for Marketplace. He is associate professor of journalism at the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California.
