Sam Quinones

Sam Quinones has been a reporter for twenty-two years, currently at the Los Angeles Times. He spent ten years in Mexico chronicling the country’s slow road to political and social change and has published two books of narrative nonfiction stories: True Tales from Another Mexico and Antonio’s Gun and Delfino’s Dream. Quinones received an Alicia Patterson Fellowship for a series on Mexican villages and was awarded a Cabot Prize for excellence in covering Latin America.
