June Cross

June Cross was producer and writer for The Old Man and the Storm for PBS' Frontline about a New Orleanian family displaced by Hurricane Katrina, and executive producer for This Far by Faith, a six-part PBS series on African-American religious experience. She has worked for Frontline, CBS News, and The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, where her reporting won the 1983 Emmy Award. Her autobiographical film Secret Daughter won a 1997 Emmy and was honored with a duPont-Columbia Award. She adapted the work into a memoir by the same name. Cross teaches journalism at Columbia University.
