Gwen Ifill is moderator and managing editor of Washington Week, and senior correspondent for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. She is also the author of the forthcoming book The Breakthrough: Politics in the Age of Obama. Ifill has received more than a dozen honorary doctorates and is the recipient of several broadcasting excellence awards. She serves on the board of the Harvard University Institute of Politics, the Committee to Protect Journalists, the Newseum, and the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism. |
