Alicia Anstead is narrative conferences consultant at the Nieman Foundation. For two decades, she covered arts and culture for the Bangor Daily News, and has contributed to the New York Times and Art New England. In 2000, Anstead was a fellow at the National Arts Journalism Program at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, and, in 2008, was the inaugural arts and culture fellow at the Nieman Foundation. She edits Inside Arts magazine and teaches arts journalism at Harvard Extension School.
