Pulitzer Prize-winning musician and composer Wynton Marsalis kicks off the Nieman Foundation’s Pulitzer Prize centennial weekend at Sanders Theatre, Sept. 10, 2016. Marsalis  made history in 1997 when his oratorio “Blood on the Fields” became the first jazz composition to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
