Melissa Bunni Elian has worked as an independent visual journalist since 2013 and is a board member of the Authority Collective. Her work focuses on recentering people on the margins of society, culture from the African Diaspora and structural inequality. She is currently working on her master’s degree at Columbia Journalism School
