John D. Sutter, a 2019 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow, is a climate change analyst for CNN, which he joined in 2009. Previously, he was a member of the network’s investigative unit, where he focused primarily on climate change, social justice issues and crowdsourced reporting projects.
