Ines Pohl, NF ’05, has been named the new editor-in-chief of Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster. Pohl joined Deutsche Welle in 2015 as a foreign correspondent based in Washington, D.C. Before that, she served as the editor in chief of the national daily newspaper Die Tageszeitung, commonly referred to as taz, from 2009 to 2015.

Pohl will begin her new position in March 2017.
