Beth Macy has been inducted into the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame, which recognizes professionals with exceptional careers in advertising, journalism, public relations and other media fields. A former reporter for The Roanoke Times, Macy’s work has been featured in The Christian Science Monitor, Salon, and The American Journalism Review. She is the author of the bestselling book “Factory Man:  How One Furniture Maker Battled Offshoring, Stayed Local – and Helped Save an American Town.”
