The Nieman Journalism Lab has created a new digital encyclopedia that includes entries on all the key players and issues affecting the future of news today. Encyclo is an online resource for those interested in learning more about the organizations shaping journalism’s rapid, sometimes tumultuous evolution.
Visitors to the site will find information on traditional news organizations and their attempts to innovate and introduce new business models; new media companies and web-based news organizations developing creative ways to support and distribute reporting worldwide; and innovative companies whose technology is changing the way news is shared and consumed across all platforms. As with all Nieman Lab projects, your input is welcome.
