The California HealthCare Foundation Center for Health Reporting has launched a new website that chronicles the news projects it has produced with California newspapers during the last year. Based at the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, the Center works in partnership with news organizations across the state to cover California health policy issues.

Deborah Schoch, a 2000 Nieman Fellow and a founding writer for the Center for Health Reporting says “I’m convinced it offers a solid new model for journalism around the globe…. As of today, we have produced 17 projects with 31 newspapers.” Editor-in-chief, David Westphal adds “We work with small outlets that couldn’t undertake a big project without our help, as well as large ones that benefit from the extra reporting firepower we can deliver.”
