Veteran journalist Crispulo “Jun” Icban Jr.—Manila Bulletin editor-in-chief and 1967 Nieman Fellow—was designated acting Press Secretary for by Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Icban temporarily replaces Press Secretary Cerge Remonde, who recently passed away.
