Please join us as Nieman Foundation curator Ann Marie Lipinski leads a conversation with New York Times journalists about gender issues in journalism. The team of four from the Times have been at the center of some of the paper’s most important gender and #MeToo coverage.
Emily Steel and Michael S. Schmidt, the reporters who broke the Times’s first major investigation on sexual harassment last year. Their coverage on harassment settlements at Fox News was eight months in the making and resulted in the downfall of Bill O’Reilly.
Bill Brink, the media editor at the Times who oversaw this coverage.
Rebecca Corbett, assistant managing editor and the woman who headed much of the paper’s gender reporting, including the Harvey Weinstein story.
