About Facebook Groups

The Nieman Foundation has created Facebook pages to enable fellows to stay connected to your classmates and other Nieman alumni and to keep up with Nieman news and publications.

As a member of the Facebook groups, you can share news and information; find out what your friends are up to; post job listings or look for one yourself; seek assistance with challenging assignments; ask for feedback on your work; and weigh in on group discussions.

If you’re not already a member of your own class group or the “All Fellows” group, it’s easy to sign up: Simply click on the link for your class year below, log in to Facebook using your own password (you’ll need an account) and then click the “Join Group” button in the upper-right corner of the page. A group administrator will approve your request. You can also be added by someone who is already a member of the group.

To stay in touch with the Nieman Foundation, Nieman Reports, Nieman Journalism Lab and Nieman Storyboard, “like” the pages from your Facebook account and please encourage your friends and colleagues to do the same.

Note that all Nieman Facebook groups are closed and private. Although others can see the group and who belongs to it, only members may view posts.
