Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism
The 2009 Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism attracted 50 of the best teachers and practitioners of the form and hundreds of attendees, including journalists working in every genre and every medium. Held in March in Boston, it featured three days of talks, panels, and workshops—ranging from ethical dilemmas in reporting and how to tackle multimedia to the nuts and bolts of the craft.
For a number of years, the conference has been the premier annual event for narrative journalists eager to enhance their powers of observation and inquiry, sharpen their reporting and analytical skills, and write with literary flair.
Please note that the Nieman conference will not be held in 2010.
